INCLUSIONS
No set up required as our ‘Mountain Chapel’ is permanently set up. Ceremony inclusions:
- 1 x rustic ‘Country Door Wedding Arbour’ (option to decorate it if desired)
- Seating for 50 guests with 10 x handcrafted wooden benches (unmoveable)
- Signing table and 2 x chairs
- Various other ceremony options available including the dam or under our signature tree (require your own styling and set up. Additional chairs are available free of charge if required)
Wet weather Ceremony option at ‘The Barn’. Our team will set up a beautiful Ceremony either inside or out on the deck with the view in the background.
The Barn Venue ambiance:
‘The Barn’ epitomises rustic luxury, featuring corrugated iron, handcrafted timber beams sourced from our own grounds, and polished cement floors complemented by chandeliers hanging from the cathedral ceilings and an array of fairy lights.
Step outside through our oversized sliding barn doors onto expansive covered patios, strategically positioned to capture panoramic views of distant rolling hills and breathtaking sunsets. Our signature tree, adorned with a million twinkling fairy lights, adds to the magical ambiance.

- Wedding Coordinator – We have partnered with Tammy from Darling Days, who knows Glenayr Farm intimately and is dedicated to crafting your perfect celebration. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, Tammy will guide you through every step of the planning process. From selecting vendors to orchestrating the timeline of your big day, Tammy will ensure everything runs smoothly and seamlessly, allowing you to relax and savour every moment.

Glenayr Farm can accommodate up to 25 guests in:
- x 3 luxury villas all with private hot tubs and king size beds
- Villa Rose – 2 guests
- Villa Merlot – 2 guests
- Villa Blanc – 4 guests in an accessible 2 bedroom villa
- x 4 Glamping Tents all with Queen size beds
- x 3 are bell tents sleeping 2 guests.
- Champagne tent is a dome tent sleeping 3, with a queen bed and a single bed.
- Bunkhouse with two interconnecting rooms: one with a queen bed, the other with two bunk beds (double on the bottom, single on top). Accommodates 8 children or 4 to 6 adults.
We suggest the bride and her party prepare in the bridal suite located in the Glamping Section, while the groom and his party prepare in a villa. All linen and towels are provided along with shampoo, conditioner and soap.

If you’ve been thinking of getting the family and besties together for a weekend away… then Glenayr is your place! My partner and I can only describe our time at Glenayr as the most magical weekend of our lives! We brought our family and best friends together at Glenayr to host a small and intimate elopement and celebration and it was nothing short of spectacular, made even better by being able to spend the whole weekend taking it all in and enjoying all that the beautiful Glenayr has to offer!
Mother Nature combined with the natural beauty of the property and surrounds truly delivered. With a quick sun shower and double rainbow right before our ceremony to really show off! We have always loved Mudgee and spent time there, and Glenayr was the perfect place to showcase to our friends and family just why we love the Mudgee region!
We are beyond thankful for Rachel (Glenayr’s wonderful owner) graciously sharing their property with us, and allowing us to “make it our own” for the weekend. I mean how many celebrations can you finish off by stripping down (in winter) and getting into a wood fired hot tub… bliss!

Our pricing is all-inclusive including the ceremony for up to 50 guests and accommodation for up to 25 guests (inclusions as detailed above). There’s a minimum 2-night stay, with the option to add additional nights at a 60% discount.
As 2025 will be our first year of operation, we are offering special introductory rates below market value. If you are planning a wedding in 2025, you can take advantage of these special prices below.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
‘The Barn’ is connected to mains power, ensuring a reliable energy supply.
No electricity, but most celebrants use their own wireless PA systems.
Our oversized verandah can host a lot of guests and offers great wet weather ceremony and photography spots. The tin roof also sounds incredible when it rains. No matter the weather you and your guests will stay dry and warm.
We can hold weddings for up to 50 guests. Please get in touch if you have a few extras.
Our Property includes accommodation for up to 25 guests.
All amplified music must be turned off by 10:30pm on weekends and 10pm on weekdays. It may appear we have no neighbours, but we do, and noise does travel and is a serious issue and must be adhered to, ensuring a great outcome for all. ‘The Barn’ will be locked up and lights shut down at 10.30pm and all guests who are not staying at Glenayr will be picked up by the bus and delivered back to their accomodation in Mudgee.
We welcome your furry friends but require leashes to protect our livestock. Please keep animals off beds and lounges to avoid extra charges.
Most guests take the bus to and from the venue, ensuring everyone arrives and leaves together. For those driving, designated parking areas are signposted. We recommend bus transport for guests who plan to drink to prevent any drink driving.
You have exclusive use of the venue for your stay. Tammy from Darling Days will set up ‘The Barn’ for your wedding. As a DIY venue, please leave everything as you found it to avoid extra costs.
You can check-in by 2pm the first day and check out at 10am the last day.
Yes, ‘Villa Blanc’ is accessible, and ‘The Barn’ includes an accessible toilet.
For environmental sustainability, only flower petals are permitted as confetti.
We have gas heaters for winter, and commercial fans for summer.
No, we are not licensed for this as we have strict council guidelines.
We don’t take individual payments from guests. If you’re looking to get your guests to cover some of the accommodation costs, we’d recommend you use the website Event Brite for your RSVP & payment method. This is an easy and efficient way of inviting your guests and getting them to contribute to accommodation.
Unfortunately not, as our wedding package includes accommodation & venue hire, giving you exclusive use. This is what makes Glenayr Farm so unique, to have your wedding and an amazing getaway for your guests at the same time.
Yes, we are a BYO venue, we just ask that all drinks are served by RSA service staff.
