Glenayr Farm was born from a shared longing for space, stillness, and time to truly be present.

Originally a Sydney-based family of five, we spent years immersed in busy lives, always dreaming of a place where we could step away from the noise and reconnect, with ourselves, with each other, and with the land. A place where time slowed, sunsets were savoured, and moments felt meaningful again.

That dream led us on a long search through country towns across New South Wales, guided by a clear vision: a raw, secluded Australian landscape, sweeping views, and a region rich in both natural beauty and culture.

We kept returning to Mudgee.

Drawn by its rolling hills, world-renowned wineries, and deep connection to the land, the region felt instantly grounding, a place where nature and lifestyle existed in quiet harmony.

The name Glenayr carries personal meaning. It was the name of our first family home in Sydney — a 1900s Federation house where our three children were born and raised. As a romantic gesture, Michael named the farm Glenayr, carrying that sense of home, history, and love into this new chapter.

From the moment we arrived, Glenayr Farm captured us completely. The views stretch endlessly across the valley, sunsets paint the sky in unforgettable colours, and as night falls, the land reveals one of Australia’s most remarkable stargazing skies.
